Gas Pipeline from AXXELA have now reached Eko Atlantic City and supplying power to the EAC power plant, 5 MTU Rolls-Royce engines, are currently running on Pipe Line Gas with high efficiency to energise the already existing 48 Kilometres of underground cables. 

Eko Atlantic Utilities has kicked off with the site activity of a new power plant project to add 56.7 MW based on a power generator from the Hyundai Heavy Industry ( HHI) that has already been delivered.  

Eko Atlantic Utility's strategic plan is to extend its power generation and distribution capacity phase by phase in the mid-term and far beyond in the long term to be in line with the EAC project development course and demand.
