Power Generation

Eko Atlantic Utility has commissioned its first 10MVA natural gas power plant, in addition to completing 3 distribution substations responsible for energising phases 1 and 2 of Eko Atlantic City via a 33kV distribution network. This infrastructure relies on 6 MTU Rolls Royce engines, efficiently fuelled by compressed natural gas, to provide power to an extensive 48km network of underground cables

The entrances and exits to the Canals are now complete. Drivers will be able to access the East and West expressways in the lower level of the city via these roadways. The expressways will be built alongside the canal.
