Royal Haskoning are the appointed consultant marine engineers for the Eko Atlantic Project; their role extends to the design of the revetment or sea defence wall and overview of its construction in all aspects.

Further responsibilities include the design of the inland waterway and also the overview of all sand reclamation works performed by the dredging contractor.
